The Program Experience

Yusra Kirsten 2016 All Nations participant:

The All Nations program was definitely a one of a kind experience. I had never played footy before so getting such an amazing opportunity was astonishing. Throughout the program the coaches taught me various footy skills that have improved the way I play. The information sessions in Melbourne also highlighted the many opportunities now available for females in AFL. It was honestly such a fun experience. My favourite part of the program was creating sisterly bonds with my teammates and being able to play with them on the field. I also love how during the program I got to meet people from a variety of backgrounds, it really was an eye opener.
